The Horizon
Across the great horizon, they say there are things to see. I wish to some day go there, just to see what there is for me. The land that claims my place to be, that from birth has been my home, spreads not beyond the churning sea, to where I am now compelled to roam. I do not know that other world, where sea and sky meet as one, and I dread going beyond that line,. fearing the light of a different sun. Beneath my sun and sky I walk, in a world that ends at that line, and here I know the common talk, while there, only my soul is mine . User reviews
